The Christian Service Committee is a group of dedicated individuals who work to foster comradeship and to build community not only at St. Anthony’s but also with our neighboring parishes. They plan and coordinate many of the parish special events and functions such as Pie Night.
The Committee provides refreshments following liturgical services such as the Thanksgiving Eve Mass and the Easter Vigil. They also host an Advent Luncheon Workshop for the younger CCD children and their parents. Both the children and their parents come to a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Christmas.
Other activities that the Christian Service Committee participates in are the Lenten suppers, pot-luck suppers, Seder suppers, Stone soup gatherings, and parish fund raisers such as Pie Night.
