"If you can't feed 100 people, then feed just one." Mother Teresa
"If you want to eliminate hunger, everyone has to be involved." Bono
Over 30 years ago, parishioner Sue Tetu began the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry ministry here at St. Anthony of Padua Parish. With the help of a dedicated crew, thousands of bags of food have been provided to those in need over those 30 + years.
The pantry closed in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic but reopened under the leadership of Colin Upham in May of 2021.
We are immeasurably grateful for all donations, as either non-perishables, cash or gift cards. Checks should be made out to "St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry".
The Pantry is always looking for volunteers to help out. And if you or anyone you know would like to sign up to receive food, please call the rectory office at 603-625-6409 before noon on Tuesdays. Bags are given out the following Thursday, between 3 & 4pm, by appointment only.
Starting the last week of July, clients will be able to choose their own food items in our new site across from the existing pantry. We're still located in Tetu Hall, with the same hours as above. A huge thank you goes to Emile & Sue Tetu for the donation of shelves. We also thank all our volunteers who give of themselves on a weekly basis to this great ministry.
