With the merger of St. Anthony School and St. Casimir School in September of 2018, the St. Anthony School building has now become, "Cardinal Lacroix Academy". The new school is named after Cardinal Gerald Lacroix, I.S.P.X., Archbishop of Quebec and Primate of Canada. Cardinal Lacroix's parents, Raymond and Brigitte Lacroix, are long-time parishioners, as was the Cardinal, attending St. Anthony School as a child. The academy is a parochial school, still belonging to St. Anthony of Padua Parish, presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Richard Dion, V.F., the pastor at this time. As he stated at the announcement of the merger, "Cardinal Lacroix Academy will be authentically Catholic, offer a strong academic curriculum, promote a richly diverse school community, and celebrate a vibrant liturgical life in union with St. Anthony of Padua Parish".
