Stewardship is accepting the many gifts God has blessed us with, caring for them in a responsible manner, and sharing them with others, in gratitude for what God has given us. We are all called to use our gifts to do God's work to fulfill the mission set forth by Jesus. Every person has the responsibility to determine concrete ways in which God intends them to use their time, talents, and resources. Stewardship draws upon the talents, expertise, and hard work of each parishioner.
Stewardship is also the best way to not only become involved, but to meet new people and to feel a part of our Catholic community. St. Anthony Parish encourages all of its parishioners to make a commitment to stewardship through all three of the following:
• Attending Mass
Please join your parish family on weekends and holy
days as we gather together to sing God's praises,
listen to his Word, and celebrate the Eucharist.
• Giving financially
If we simply give out of the abundance we have received,
it will be the right amount.
• Offering your time & talent to our Parish Community
In a variety of ways, we, as disciples of the Lord, share
our time and talent to build up the Church and make our
world a better place.
ELECTRONIC AND ONLINE GIVING:
St. Anthony Parish now offers Online Giving that is fast, secure and a convenient way to make your donations. With your authorization, your bank automatically withdraws the contribution amount you specify from your designated checking or savings account, or, if you prefer, your specified credit card will be charged. You can decide how much and/or how often to give. Simply click on the Online Giving button on our homepage.
Q: Why should I switch to Online Giving:
• Reduce the number of checks you write.
• No worries about forgetting your cash or checkbook
• Print out your own year-end statement for tax purposes.
Q: Is there any charge to me from my bank to give electronically?
No. Electronic funds transfers carry no bank fees.
Q: Is electronic giving risky?
It's less risky than writing checks or bringing cash to church. Electronic contributions cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed, and have an extremely high rate of accuracy.
Q: If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recorded for you on your bank statement, as well as your online reports.
Q: What if I change bank accounts?
Log in and update your account information in the My Payment Schedule window. Each checking/savings/credit card can be changed using the edit button, deleted completely, or new accounts can be added on the right side of the screen.
Q: What if I try Online Giving and don't like it?
You can cancel your authorization by deleting your accounts and donation dates at any time. All the more reason to give it a try!
Q: How do I sign up for Online Giving?

2. Click on the Online Giving Link.
3. Complete the registration.
LEAVE A LEGACY:
"You can't take it with you" does not mean "you can't leave it behind as you wish". One of our important obligations as stewards is to provide for the needs of loved ones, charities and church after our death. Consider one of these options which may assist St. Anthony Parish, and leave your legacy for many years to come.
- Do you have a will? Have you reviewed & updated it recently? Now may be the perfect time to contact your attorney about your estate planning, and perhaps name St. Anthony Parish as one of the recipients.
- Many people bought life insurance when they were raising children and needed that added protection. Today they may not need the policy. By naming St. Anthony Parish as both the owner and beneficiary of the policy, you can receive a charitable deduction, be rid of the policy, and benefit our parish. Or, if you continue making premium payments, they are tax deductible! Check with your insurance agent for details.
